摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure proper stock to reduce overhead (management man-hours, expenses or the like) in stock management of a maintenance component when a production stop component is generated by calculating maintenance quantity of the production stop component with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A computer 2 calculates the optimum maintenance quantity of the production stop component on the basis of information inside a plurality of databases connected via a network 1. A method of the calculation considers three of calculation of the number of necessary components by approximation of a future production quantity from a past production tendency, calculation of a component consumption in association with repair in consideration of a failure tendency of a product or the component, and last-minute demand (special procurements) from a customer due to a product production stop, and performs the calculation of the number of the components necessary for maintenance with high accuracy.
