PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire for a motorcycle capable of securing safety driving for various road conditions by satisfying performances such as wet performance, in particular hydroplaning, traction and linear handling at a high level. SOLUTION: Inclined lug grooves are (a) arranged at an angle of 5-85°against the tire circumferential direction, where (b) the ratio of the minimum length Lmin to a creeping surface length on one side of a tread W exceeds 0.1. Two groups of inclined lug grooves, comprised of (c) two or more inclined lug grooves approximately arranged parallel to each other, includes: (d) a first inclined lug groove group G1 formed in a truncated chevron shape on both sides of a tread surface and (e) a second groove group G2 formed in an inverse truncated chevron shape, which are mutually arranged in the tire circumferential direction, (f) and arranged symmetrically with respect to the tire equator and offset in the tire circumferential direction.
