摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the adjustment of the composition ratio between a main push-pull signal and a sub-push-pull signal is apt to take time in an optical disk device of a differential push-pull system. SOLUTION: In the tracking error signal generation circuit 85 for controlling a tracking servo of the optical disk unit 100 of the differential push-pull system, a tracking error signal generation section 62 generates the tracking error signal by adjusting the main push-pull signal and the sub-push-pull signal by the prescribed composition ratio, then determining the differential signal of both signals. An offset voltage application section 80 applies the prescribed offset voltage to a driver 90 for performing tracking control of an optical pickup 50. A composition ratio computation section determines the composition ratio by utilizing the proportional relationship between the amount of fluctuation and the composition ratio in the points of attention between the tracking error signals of a case where the offset voltage is applied to the driver by disabling the tracking servo and a case where the voltage is not applied thereto.
