PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a DC voltage output according as which of a capacitor type monaural microphone or stereo headphones is/are connected by an input/output switching device. SOLUTION: The input/output switching device includes a detection section which detects which of the capacitor type monaural microphone or stereo headphones is/are connected to a connection terminal, a DC voltage output section which outputs a DC voltage, an input section which inputs the audio signal of the capacitor type monaural microphone, an output section which outputs the audio signal to the stereo headphones, a switching section which switches and connects the connection terminal to the input section or output section, and a control section which connects the connection terminal to the input section by outputting the DC voltage by the DC voltage output section when the capacitor type monaural microphone is connected and connects the connection terminal to the output section when the stereo headphones are connected.
