PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve insulation and to achieve better heat transfer by securing a fixed insulation space between an outer core and a coil block. SOLUTION: In a stator of a linear motor, a minimum insulation space is secured between an outer core block and a coil block 63 by structuring the outer core block with first and second side core blocks and a center core block, and by forming the center core block whose inside diameter is made equal to the outside diameter of the coil block 63. As a result, insulation and a heat transfer effect are increased and heat generated in the coil block 63 is dissipated effectively by forming a heat-dissipation portion in such a way that the center core block is inserted into the coil block 63.
