PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission belt with ability to heighten rubber elasticity, excellent wear resistance, clack resistance and low-cost manufacturing enabled. SOLUTION: As shown in Fig. 1, there is provided the power transmission belt made up by a constituent of a composition of rubber containing, per 100 by mass of rubber, 3 to 50 by mass pts. of polyketon discontinuous fiber 6 whose fiber length is 5 mm or less. The polyketon discontinuous fiber 6 comprises poyketon composed of 1-oxotrimethylene whose 97% or more mol of an iterative unit is expressed as a formula (1): -CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>(C=O)-.
