PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of easily and conveniently disclosing an image to a user, and its image disclosing method. SOLUTION: An image can be easily obtained from any place by assigning an IP address to the image read with a copying machine 100 and returning the image when the IP address is referred to (step S1109 and step S1111). When the entity of the image is moved from a hard disk 304 of the copying machine 100 to an external host computer 200 on the Internet, the IP address is moved together with the image itself, thereby allowing access from the user side similarly.
