PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable maintenance work with a small amount of labor of a gas pressure governor from a rear side of a governor box with a rear face installed adjacent to a building or the like. SOLUTION: The governor box 1 has side panels 3, 4, 5, and 6 surrounding a periphery of the gas pressure governor 90 installed on a base 80, and a roof panel 10 covering a top part of the gas governor 90 to house the gas governor 90. Air cylinders 30, 31, 32, and 33 attached so as to vertically extend and contract are provided on inner sides of the side panels, and the governor box 1 is raised by the air cylinders to expose one of front, rear, right or left faces of the gas governor 90. Of the side panels, the front panel 6 arranged facing a front face of the gas governor is detachably attached to the side panel 5 arranged on a side face of the gas governor 90, and the front panel 6 is detached from the side panel 5 when raising the governor box 1.
