The fin has a wider surface or circular support in both transverse and longitudinal sections of the fin, where the fin is seamlessly attached at both ends of a board of a water sporting device in a driving direction and includes an edge that is not sharp. The fin is made of metal fiber, plastic fiber or glass fiber, where height of the fin is not higher than a bending height of the board.
