ELECTRIC INSPECTION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PRINTED BOARD

An electric inspection apparatus and method for a printed board are provided to precisely inspect the electricity by contacting an inspection probe to the printed board with a proper pressing force. An inspection probe(36) is attached to a contact point of a printed board(11) by an attachment member(39). The attachment member is detachably supported by a support member(43). A drive mechanism moves the attachment member toward or away from the printed board to contact the inspection probe to the printed board. A reaction sensor(38) detects a pressing force applied to the printed board by the inspection probe as reaction applied to the drive mechanism, when the inspection probe is contacted with the printed board. The operation of the drive mechanism and the contact between the inspection probe and the printed board are controlled by a controller.
