<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED bulb for a vehicular lamp effective for a light source of a lamp requiring visibility over a wide range like, in particular, a width indicator among vehicular lamps. <P>SOLUTION: A board 4 with LED lamps 3 mounted thereon is mounted in a socket 1, and a reflector 5 is arranged above the LED lamps 3 in a state that the peripheral surface 8 of the reflector 5 with a reflecting surface formed thereon is faced to the LED lamps 3. In addition, a cover 6 with a lens cut 10 formed on its peripheral surface is fixed to the socket 1 so as to cover the LED lamps 3 and the reflector 5. The reflector 5 is so set that the opening end of the peripheral surface 8 used as the reflecting surface is positioned at least at nearly 20° or greater with respect to the center axis of the LED bulb, and the cover 6 is so set that the upper end of the lens cut formed on the peripheral surface of the cover 6 is positioned at least at substantially 20° or greater with respect to the center axis of the LED bulb. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
