SELECTIVE AND WET GRAVITATIONAL SORTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional wet gravitational sorter that sorting of various kinds of mixed plastic particles having specific gravities with small differences and within a low range is so difficult as to make recycling of the mixed plastic particles as new raw materials impossible.

SOLUTION: Utilizing the difference of wettability to water among various kinds of mixed plastic particles, very small foams are forcibly attached to plastics having high hydrophobicity and particularly small specific gravities to increase the apparent specific gravity difference among the plastic and accordingly sorting precision is improved and plastics with high quality can be recovered. Alternatively, the wettability of plastics is adjusted and aimed plastics are selectively converted into very small foams-bearing plastics to separate the plastics from other plastics.
