摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance running performance in acceleration after deceleration. <P>SOLUTION: An engine 22 and motors MG1, MG2 are controlled to output a required torque to a ring gear 32a as a driving shaft, with an intermittent operation of the engine, based on required power required to a vehicle, in a normal operation, and the engine 22 and the motors MG1, MG2 are controlled to output the required torque to the ring gear 32a by continuing an operation of the engine 22 until a vehicular speed comes to a prescribed vehicular speed or more or until a prescribed time lapses when a signal transmitted from a road side unit 12 is received by an on-vehicle unit 89, in the travel on a travel lane installed with an electronic toll collection system 10 in a toll gate of a toll road.
