<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a prescribed motor torque even in an area with low engine speed and low output voltage of a generator. <P>SOLUTION: This controller controls a required voltage and current of the generator 17 mounted on a motor four-wheel drive vehicle with one side of front and rear wheels 11L, 11R, 13L, 13R driven by an engine 12, and with the other side driven via a clutch by motive power from a rear wheel drive motor 14, and driven by the engine 12 determined based on a motor torque and a motor revolution to generate electric power, in response to the engine speed.
