PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum-forming machine for a heat resistant thermoplastic film which is capable of; downsizing in machine totality, applying regardless of kinds of a male mold or a female mold, and forming accurately the heat resistant thermoplastic film, and a method for vacuum-forming the heat resistant thermoplastic film. SOLUTION: The vacuum-forming machine which forms the heat resistant thermoplastic film 40 with a mold in a vacuum chamber is configured such that the vacuum chamber is divided in two as a movable lower chamber 10 including the mold 11 and a heater 12 for heating the mold and a movable upper chamber 20 including a preheater 22, and the film 40 is disposed at a fixed booth 30 between the upper and lower chambers wherein the film is formed as a predetermined form of the mold by a pressure difference of the upper and lower chambers.
