PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with the installation of equipment for changing setting in a game machine housing. SOLUTION: The game machine has a plurality of tables to be used for an internal lottery and a judgment about winning, a set value storage portion which stores set values concerning internal actions, a control portion which selects a table corresponding to a set value in the set value storage portion from among the tables and makes an internal lottery and judgment about winning on the basis of the table chosen in response to the operation of a player and puts out game mediums in accordance with the winning. The game machine receives a password from outside (parlor computer) at a predetermined time interval or at a predetermined time, compares the password with a password previously stored in the game machine, and externally sends a setting changeability signal when both agree with each other, receives set values from the outside and stores in the set value storage portion and externally sends a setting change completion signal.
