PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide biocompatible nanoparticles encapsulating a medicinal substance with a high rate irrespective of the medicinal substance is hydrophilic or hydrophobic, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the biocompatible nanoparticles 1 comprising a hydrophilic polymer block 3 thrusting to the surface of the particle and forming a shell part 5, and a hydrophobic polymer block 2 locating at a core section 6 to form a core shell structure. The leak out of the hydrophilic component 7 to a poor solvent is suppressed by a mutual action with the hydrophilic polymer block 3 and the hydrophilic component 7 is encapsulated in the shell part 5 of the nanoparticles 1.
