PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-step gasification system of a waste material by which a metal and an ash content contained in the waste material can be recovered in a recyclable state, and a gas containing a large amount of CO and H<SB>2</SB>can be recovered so as to be used for a raw material for chemical synthesis such as NH<SB>3</SB>(ammonia) synthesis. SOLUTION: The two-step gasification system of the waste material for converting a raw material comprising the waste material (a) into a thermal cracking gas at a low temperature by a fluidized bed gasification furnace 1, and gasifying the obtained gaseous material and char by introducing them into a melting furnace 30 is constituted as follows. A moving bed-type storage yard 11 obtained by parallelly arranging two or more movable flat moving plates is installed in a raw material-feeding system 10 for feeding the raw material to the fluidized bed gasification furnace 1. The two or more moving plates simultaneously progress in a state of carrying the raw material, and are constituted so as to progress and retreat one by one at time difference (1/4τ).
