PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptive array type radio base station which prevents noise (beep-gaggle) from being generated from a signal even if a radio mobile station receives the relevant signal sent toward another path-multiplexed mobile station. SOLUTION: While two mobile stations PS-A and PS-B are path-multiplexed, a lock generation section 52 generates a clock so that a transmission time of a symbol to the mobile station PS-B is shifted from a transmission time of a symbol to PS-A just by a 0.5 symbol term. Because of such transmission timing adjustment, even if a mobile station receives a symbol sent toward another path-multiplexed mobile station, since a reception time of that symbol is shifted from a reception time of a symbol to the present station, synchronism does not match and the received symbol to the other mobile station can not be demodulated like the original symbol, so that meaningless noise (beep-gaggle) is not generated.
