PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving picture display performance determining method capable of acquiring the moving picture display performance index value of a determination object indicator with simple procedures, an inspection screen and a moving picture display performance determining apparatus. SOLUTION: A test image is subjected to scroll display on the screen 5 of the determination object indicator. On the other hand, a plurality of sample images which are prepared by using the test image and represent different moving picture display performance index values are prepared, and the plurality of sample images are fixedly displayed in a state contrastable with the test image under movement. A sample image that resembles the pursue-photographed test image most is specified, and the moving picture display performance index value of the specified sample image is determined as the moving picture display performance index value of the test image.
