PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning optical system, an optical scanning device and an image forming apparatus which can adjust a scanning line deflection of a higher-order component in addition to a scanning line deflection similar to a quadratic curve through less adjusting processes. SOLUTION: The scanning optical system deflects a light flux emitted by a light source by an optical deflector, and focuses the light flux on a surface to be scanned through a scanning lens. The scanning optical system includes at least one or more pressing means disposed at nearly a center of the scanning lens.
