PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system to print out the digital image stored in a data recording medium that can improve the data recording medium users' convenience, and also can reduce the costs at the side of the shop. SOLUTION: When renting out a memory card 4 to a user, the information of the user's name and address is recorded in the user information storage 4b of the memory card 4. When the user prints the photographed image data stored in the memory card 4, the user information is read from the user information storage 4b of this memory card 4 to accept the print order. The memory card 4 can also be used as a bonus point card if the total number of prints is stored together with the user information, and the record of use by the user is updated in the user information each time the user makes prints from the image data.
