LIVER PROGENITOR CELLS

摘要

The invention relates to a novel human lover progenitor cell line which expresses hepatic cell markers such as albumin and a-fetoprotein and does not express some of the markers which are typical of oval stem cells. Also disclosed is a method of isolating the cell line of the invention, methods for differentiating said cell line into mature liver cells and insulin-producing cells and the use of the cell line of the invention for preparing medicaments with osteogenic differentiation activity and liver injury regeneration activity.
