The brake operating group has a handle operable by foot and or hand. The handle is connected to a master brake cylinder by a hydraulic such as a slip-regulated brake assembly mounting plate provided opposite at the motor cycle. For the recognition of an exhaust condition of the hydraulic brake assembly an optical and or acoustic warning (1) is provided at the motor cycle. The warning is activated in dependence by a defined operating braking.
