A mobile communication system capable of call forwarding and an operating method thereof are provided to set phone number data and reception bell sound data, corresponding to the phone number data, which a user wants to forward, and transmit the data together with a call forwarding request message to a mobile communication server, thereby significantly improving user's convenience since the user can receive a call through the other mobile communication terminal after a battery is discharged. A mobile communication system capable of call forwarding comprises a mobile communication terminal(10) and a mobile communication server(20). In the mobile communication terminal(10), phone number data and incoming bell sound data, forwarded according to remaining amount of a battery, are set. The mobile communication terminal(10) generates a call forwarding request message corresponding to the data. In the mobile communication server(20), phone number data and incoming bell sound data by call forwarding are registered. The mobile communication server(20) forwards and transmits a received incoming signal according to the registered phone number data. |
