A device and a method for changing a user interface are provided to display diverse user interfaces by enabling a user to select the user interfaces according to taste of the user. A storing part(10) stores component information of the user interface by each kind. An interface controller(40) loads the component information of the user interface according to user selection and displays each components of the user interface after changing each component according to the loaded component information. The storing part stores the component information such as font, layout, position, size, color, and border information of each component. The interface controller includes an interface output part(43) for displaying the user interface including a menu selected by the user and displaying the user interface selected by the user, a loading processor(41) for loading the component information corresponding to the menu selected by the user from the storing part, and a property processor(42).
