A mobile communication terminal having a point control function is provided to control a screen point by accepting a varapoint sensor of small size, thereby controlling the point of the mobile communication terminal without giving influence on a small size and light-weight of the mobile communication terminal. A mobile communication terminal(100) having a point control function comprises the followings: a varapoint sensor(170) which outputs different analog resistance values according to a point where a key, made of resistive rubber and pressed according to operation of a user, is contacted with a PCB(Printed Circuit Board); and a point controller(111) which converts the analog values, outputted from the varapoint sensor(170), into digital signals and generates screen coordinate signals from the converted digital signals before outputting the screen coordinate signals.
