PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat capable of improving protection performance against a load input into the pelvis through an occupant's leg upon a vehicle front collision. SOLUTION: The vehicle seat 1 makes a front central portion of a seat pan 14 higher than its right and left portions to move an occupant's knee in such a direction as to separate from each other upon a vehicle collision. When the knee contacts with a dash board upon a vehicle front collision, an occupant in a position with legs closed or in a normal position is likely to be responsive to the input load, while an occupant in a position with legs open is likely to irresponsive to the input load. Therefore, this vehicle seat 1 enables protection performance against a load input into the pelvis through an occupant's leg to be improved upon a vehicle front collision.
