PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding frame capable of suppressing a deterioration in quality of embroidery in the curved face of an article to be embroidered having the curbed face. SOLUTION: The part of the article to be embroidered having the curved face is supported on the holding face of the arch shape support face of the holding member along its curved face. A pushing means displaced between a releasing position and a gripping position relative to the holding member on which the article to be embroidered is set is displaced from the releasing position to the gripping position in which the article to be embroidered set on the holding member is pushed onto the arch shape support face of the holding member. Thereby, the article to be embroidered having the curved face set on the holding member is held between the support face of the holding member and the pushing member. Thereby, the article to be embroidered can be held with the curved face of the article to be embroidered maintained as it is and embroidered, consequently, it becomes possible to suppress the deterioration of the quality of the embroidery in the curved face of the article to be embroidered having the curved face.
