PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique orientating a multimer by controlling the direction and arranging method of the multimer when obtaining a functional structure. SOLUTION: The structure 2 is constructed so as to have the multimer 10, in which at least one end of the structure 2 is fixed by irradiation of light on the surface of a photoresponsive material 4 containing a photoresponsive component making the change of molecular structure or the change of molecular arrangement by light, having an association region 14 in which one or more kinds of associative units 12 are associated in a definite orientation, a definite order or a definite combination.
