METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTROCHEMICAL CAPACITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrochemical capacitor with high production efficiency. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an electrochemical capacitor comprises: a first step (S11) for producing the master roll of a capacitor electrode by forming a polarizable electrode layer on a collector; a second step (S12) for producing a capacitor electrode by cutting and punching the master roll and then laying the capacitor electrode in layers; a third step (S13) for containing the capacitor electrode in a case; a fourth step (S14) for injecting electrolytic solution into the case; a fifth step (S15) for optimizing the state in the case by impregnating the capacitor electrode in the case with the electrolytic solution and further performing degassing and reinjection of solution; a sixth step (S16) for sealing the case hermetically; and a seventh step (S17) for performing performance inspection wherein second through sixth steps are performed under specified dry environment by a dry chamber.
