PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-tight terminal of which a metallic terminal of a small inner diameter whose inside can be sealed air-tight by welding or soldering its one end can be connected air-tight on a ceramic plate. SOLUTION: The air-tight terminal is composed of a ceramic plate 3 having a penetrating hole 3a, a metallic large diameter terminal 1 which, while it is inserted into the penetrating hole 3a, its outer surface is brazed with a ceramic plate and a metallic small diameter terminal 2 which, while its end is inserted into one end of the large diameter terminal 1, its outer surface is brazed with the end of the large diameter terminal.
