PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel sheet for use in transfer which is excellent in corrosion resistance and durability and also excellent in durability equivalent to that of a chromate-treated steel sheet for use in conveyance and such lubricity as to allow even an article having a high transfer resistance such as a cornered PET bottle to be transferred by slide. SOLUTION: The surface-lubricated steel sheet for use in transfer has an undercoat film on one or both surfaces of the steel sheet and a polyurethane resin film thereon, wherein the undercoat film is made from a material prepared by mixing an epoxy compound and silica in a resin mainly consisting of one or more resins selected from among carboxyl-containing polyurethane resins, polyolefin resins, polyester resins, and acrylic resins and the polyurethane resin film contains a fluoro solid lubricant having the longest major diameter at least three times the thickness of the resin film and has a film thickness of 1 to 15μm.
