PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle travel controller capable of realizing the automatic drive control of high convenience by surely reflecting the actual road situation or the will of a driver on the route. SOLUTION: The controller 8 is constituted such that when the communication to the reference station 4 is established, it is capable of selectively executing either of the control for learning the travel route of the own vehicle 1 using the travel route obtained based on the measurement of one's own vehicle position or the automatic drive control for automatic control of the own vehicle 1 following to the condition previously set by selecting a usable prescribed travel route between each control of travel routes. Moreover, in the case the learning control of the travel route is selected by a user, the learning control of the travel route is selected and executed with priority. Thereby, the actual road situation or the will of the driver is reflected on the travel route (controlled travel route), the automatic driving control of high convenience can be realized.
