PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knitted fabric excellent in anti-see through properties, and further excellent in lightweight properties and heat retaining properties. SOLUTION: This knitted fabric is structured so as to contain thermoplastic synthetic fiber multifilament yarn, wherein the yarn is formed out of a single polymer and has latent shrinkability, a single fiber of the yarn has a trefoil cross section, and the yarn contains titanium oxide in an amount of 1.0-2.5 wt.%. Further, the knitted fabric has elongation percentages of 70-300% in both of longitudinal and transverse directions and an air permeability decreasing percentage (AB) of 25-50%, when the knitted fabric is dyed and finished and then the AB is calculated by formula: AB(%)=[(A0-A1)/A0]×100 [A0 is air permeability (cm<SP>3</SP>/cm<SP>2</SP>×sec) of the knitted fabric before the fabric is dyed and finished; and A1 is air permeability (cm<SP>3</SP>/cm<SP>2</SP>×sec) of the knitted fabric after the fabric is dyed and finished].
