PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition easy to maintenance, excellent in storing stability, impregnating property, curing property or the like, by easily dissolving a metal acetylacetonate in the epoxy resin. SOLUTION: The metal acetylacetonate fine powder slurry is obtained by treating with a solvent inert to the epoxy resin in a ball-mill or a homomixer. The epoxy resin stably dissolving a hardening accelerator is obtained by mixing the slurry with the epoxy resin and removing acetone or methyl ethyl ketone under reduced pressure and then heating. The epoxy resin composition with easy maintenance, excellent in storing stability, impregnating property and curing property is obtained by mixing the epoxy resin with an acid anhydride hardening agent.
