PROJECTOR, CAMERA SERVER, AND IMAGE PROJECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector camera server technique to project an image in a desired figure and color without being affected by the figure and color of a target object for projection. SOLUTION: The projector camera server 10 creates a projection image from projection information received from an operation client 20 and instructs a projector system 30 to project the image. The projector camera server 10 includes: a geometric calibration unit 12 to generate a mapping table describing the corresponding pixel positions between the projector system 30 and a camera system 40 which pickups the image projected onto the object; an optical calibration unit 13 to calculate an image transformation matrix describing a transformation matrix of pixel values to project desired colors onto the object; and a display controlling unit 14 to generate a projection image from the projection information using the mapping table and the image transformation matrix and to instruct the projector system 30 to project the image.
