TLR ACTIVATOR AND VACCINE COMPOSITION

Disclosed are: an antigen useful for the development of a vaccine that is safe and effective on Mycoplasma pneumonia for which there is currently found no effective prophylactic means; and a vaccine using the antigen. Specifically, disclosed are: an activator of Toll-like receptor (TLR) which comprises a lipoprotein derived from Mycoplasma pneumoniae, preferably F<SUB>0</SUB>F<SUB>1</SUB>-type ATPase subunit b; a transcription factor inducer comprising the lipoprotein; and a vaccine composition comprising the lipoprotein and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
