<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calcium phosphate-based bone filling material having good balance between osteogenetic rate and biological absorption rate, excellent in osteogenesis and osteoinduction enhancement in the initial implant stage, and having a function similar to that of the periosteum. <P>SOLUTION: The calcium phosphate-based bone filling material consists of β-tricalcium phosphate and/or α-tricalcium phsphate, and has a porous structure in which spherical pores communicate with each other over the whole. The calcium phosphate-based bone filling material is made by filling an elastic bioabsorbable carrier having a bag-like structure with porous granules having porosity of ≥55% and ≤75%, an average pore diameter of ≥100 μm and ≤200 μm, and a diameter of a communication section between respective pores of ≥20 μm and ≤100 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
