<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the first print output time (FPOT) for a black and white document with information, where it is anticipated that the output frequency will increase starting from now on. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming unit 11I for forming an invisible toner image, representing predetermined information, is provided in addition to image forming units 11Y, 11M, 11C and 11K for forming Y, M, C and K toner images. The image forming units 11Y, 11M, 11C, 11I and 11K are arranged, in the order starting from the upstream of an intermediate transfer belt 21 toward the downstream.
