<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus which can display character information of character broadcasting, caption broadcasting, etc. in sufficient quality. <P>SOLUTION: A signal separator 21 separates a composite signal "a" including video, voice and character information into a video and voice signal "b" and an accompanying signal "c", an encoder 23 carries out coding processing for the video and voice signal "b", a first communication processor 25 respectively gives identification codes to the coded video and voice signal "e", and the coded accompanying signal "f"; carries out transmission signal processing; and carries out radio communication of the composite signal "a" including video, voice and character information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
