PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and effective floc-occurrence inhibitor for tea beverage utilizing existing equipment without requiring no specific device: to provide a method for inhibiting occurrence of floc in tea beverage: to provide a high quality tea beverage inhibited from occurrence of floc: and to provide a method for producing the tea beverage. SOLUTION: The floc-occurrence inhibitor comprises tea extract obtained by using tea leaves as raw material, as active ingredient. The tea beverage is inhibited from occurrence of floc for a long period of time by addition of the inhibitor to keep flavor inherent in tea. The method for producing the tea beverage is provided.
