PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electric machine for a vehicle, capable of reducing the calorific value at a connection portion between a three-phase electric wire and a three-phase output terminal, by decreasing the connection resistance at the connection and increasing connection strength, and also capable of preventing the occurrence of wear and damage at the connection portion caused by vehicle vibration. SOLUTION: A relay member 27 is screwed onto a male thread 25d of an output terminal bolt 25, and a stator-side terminal 33 is fastened, in a surface of contacting manner between a head 25a and a fastening washer 26. A nut 35 is screwed onto the male thread 25d of the output terminal bolt 25, and a terminal 34a of the three-phase electric wire side is fastened in the surface contact manner against a non-fastening washer side end face 27b of the relay member 27. Furthermore, an insulating cylinder 30b is interposed between the relay member 27 and an eject hole 31 so as to cover the outer periphery of the relay member 27. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
