PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic atomizer not requiring time and effort to resupply water, capable of forming condensate only in a necessary portion of a discharge electrode not so as to form excess condensate more than necessary, and preventing a short-circuit caused by the excess condensate and reduction of a cooling power of a cooling means. SOLUTION: The electrostatic atomizer comprises: a discharge electrode 1, a cooling means 2 for cooling the discharge electrode 1 to condense moisture in air and feed the condensate formed to the discharge electrode 1, and a high-voltage applying portion 3 for applying high voltage to the discharge electrode 1 for electrostatically atomizing the condensate formed on the discharge electrode 1, wherein a heat insulating member 5 is disposed on a circumference except for a discharged portion 4 of the discharge electrode 1.
