PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel which can increase brightness by forming a plurality of emitting regions in a discharge cell and improving a discharge uniformity in a discharge space. SOLUTION: A plasma display panel is provided with a front board 120 and a rear board 110 which are placed in separation from each other and barrier ribs which are placed between the front board 120 and the rear board 110 and divide discharge cells and an discharge electrode which is placed in separation between the front board 120 and the rear board 110 and generates discharge and a fluorescent material layer formed in the discharge cell, and a plurality of discharge spaces are formed in one discharge cell. By this device, a plurality of emitting regions are formed in one discharge cell and brightness is increased by improving a uniformity of discharge in a discharge space. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
