PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method whereby an apparatus to be inspected such as a control device of a remote control switch or the like can be inspected with good workability, and stable display can be obtained in a short time because noise is not easily picked up. SOLUTION: This inspection method is provided with a step s1 to coveringly and fittingly connect the coveringly fitting base terminals 13, 14 of a connector for inspection to the contact terminals 8, 9 of a tester T, a step s2 to coveringly and fittingly connect a coveringly fitting tip terminals 15, 16 to the terminals 6, 7 of the apparatus 5 to be inspected, a step s3 to turn on and off the power supply input switch of the tester T, a step s4 to adjust the voltage range of the tester T, a step s5 to set the tester T in a measurement mode, and a step s6 to read the displayed voltage of the tester T.
