PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrode terminal structure capable of being simply assembled by everyone without requiring skill, and simply correcting the structure so as to keep prescribed airtightness when the prescribed airtightness is not kept in a leakage test after assembling, and to provide a secondary battery having the electrode terminal structure. SOLUTION: The secondary battery has a battery case in which an electrolyte, a positive plate, and a negative plate are housed, and a sealing plate 1 to which a positive terminal 13 connected to the positive plate and a negative terminal 14 connected to the negative plate are fit, and the sealing plate 11 is arranged at the upper end of the battery case so as to seal an upper opening of the battery case. Each terminal of the positive terminal 13 and the negative terminal 14 can be fit by interposing the sealing plate 11 between the outside and inside. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
