An image processing section (19) compares a previously registered fingerprint and a fingerprint detected by a key (32) having a fingerprint sensor and assesses whether they match with each other. When they match, a finger orientation determination section (18) determined the orientation of a finger based on the amount of displacement between the fingerprints. Then, a main control section (24) changes the orientation of display contents on a display section (13) according to the orientation of the finder determined by the finger orientation determination section (18). This enables a user to change the orientation of display contents on a display means with simple operation.
