PURPOSE: A seal cover plate of an organic EL(ElectroLuminescence) display device and a sealing method thereof are provided to prevent the device defective due to the dispersion of a getter by injecting the getter through a first hole. CONSTITUTION: First and second holes are formed on a predetermined area of a predetermined space in a seal cover plate(7) of an organic EL display device. A getter(8) is poured into the predetermined space of the seal plate(7) to suppress the infiltration of water and oxygen. A supporting film is formed on the lower portion of the second hole and prevents the falling of the getter(8). A sealing compound(10) is formed on the upper portion of the first hole and seals the first hole. The predetermined space is formed on the whole or a part of the seal cover plate(7). The seal cover plate(7) is made up of one among a metal, a glass, an inorganic substance, and an organic substance. The sealing compound(10) is made up of one among a metal, a glass, an inorganic substance, and an organic substance. |
