Provided are a method for preparing a matt ABS resin composition, and a matt ABS resin composition prepared by the method which is excellent in impact resistance and elongation. The method comprises the steps of dissolving 40-60 wt% of a styrene-based monomer and 10-25 wt% of an acrylonitrile-based monomer in the balance of a reaction solvent to prepare a mixture solution, and dissolving 5-12 wt% of two different kinds of butadiene rubbers having different viscosity to prepare a monomer mixture solution; adding 0.01-0.1 wt% of an initiator and 0.01-1 wt% of a molecular weight controller to the monomer mixture solution to prepare a polymerization solution; and polymerizing it with injecting it into a reactor with a velocity of 5-15 L/hr at a temperature of 90-120 deg.C, and polymerizing it at a temperature of 110-160 deg.C.
